Job description

We are partnering with a leading UK high-street fashion supplier, widely recognised for delivering trend-driven collections to some of the biggest names in retail. As they continue to expand across major supermarkets and leading online retailers, they are now seeking a Womenswear Soft Wovens Designer to join their passionate, creative, and collaborative London team.
This is an exciting opportunity to design for major womenswear accounts, combining creativity with sharp commercial thinking to produce bestselling woven collections. Working in a supportive environment, you'll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas while building strong relationships with high-street retailers, supermarkets, and key online platforms.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Translating catwalk trends and street-style inspiration into innovative yet commercial woven womenswear collections.

  • Conducting in-depth trend research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities across high-street, supermarket, and online retail channels.

  • Designing across multi-product soft woven categories with a focus on delivering fresh, fashion-forward designs.

  • Liaising with international factories to ensure design intent is executed to the highest standard.

  • Presenting collections confidently to buyers, nurturing strong, long-term client relationships across diverse retail sectors.

  • Travelling for inspirational shopping trips, trade shows, and overseas factory visits.

  • Delivering ranges that balance creativity, wearability, and commercial success.

Person specification:

Previous experience as a Womenswear Soft Wovens Designer, ideally within a supplier environment.

  • Strong CAD design skills and an exceptional eye for detail.

  • A strong sense of trend awareness and the ability to translate this into high-street, supermarket, and online-relevant product.

  • Highly organised with excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • A proactive, confident, and collaborative team player with a positive, can-do approach.
