Job description

We are working with a well-established fashion supplier based in London who are looking for an experienced Womenswear Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly, collaborative environment from their lovely offices based in London supporting key retail partners while helping to drive new business.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts while also identifying and on-boarding new business opportunities. The role covers a broad womenswear product area including softs, jersey, and soft tailoring, working closely with internal teams and international manufacturing partners to deliver successful collections.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing womenswear accounts
  • Proactively identify and secure new customer opportunities
  • Oversee product development across soft wovens , jersey, and soft tailoring
  • Liaise with design, production, and overseas factories to ensure smooth delivery
  • Liaising with factories in Turkey, Sri Lanka, and Morocco
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent account management
  • Potential travel depending on customer requirements

Person Specification

  • Proven track record of working in a similar role for a supplier within womenswear
  • Background in Buying is advantageous but not essential
  • Experienced in managing large-volume, high street or supermarket accounts
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and spot growth opportunities
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator, able to build long-term partnerships
  • Confident, proactive, and comfortable working with autonomy
  • Able to present ranges to senior buyers
  • Strong price negotiation skills
