Job description
We are working with a well-established fashion supplier based in London who are looking for an experienced Senior Womenswear Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly, collaborative environment from their lovely offices based in London supporting key retail partners while helping to drive new business.
You will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer accounts while also identifying and on boarding new business opportunities. The role covers a broad womenswear product area including softs, jersey, and soft tailoring, working closely with internal teams and international manufacturing partners to deliver successful collections.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Take ownership of major womenswear accounts, developing strategies to exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, commercially successful relationships with retail buyers
- Negotiate contracts and lead seasonal range presentations with confidence and expertise
- Identify and win new business opportunities to grow market share
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior leadership
Person Specification :
- Proven track record of working in a similar role for a supplier within womenswear
- Background in Buying is advantageous but not essential
- Experienced in managing large-volume, high street or supermarket accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and spot growth opportunities
- Excellent communicator and negotiator, able to build long-term partnerships
- Confident, proactive, and comfortable working with autonomy
