A leading high street brand is looking for a Garment Technologist to join their Menswear team on a temporary basis. This role will support the team in delivering product right first time, ensuring strong fit, quality and compliance across the department, while working closely with Buying, Design and the supply base.

Main responsibilities will include

• Supporting fit and product approvals across menswear, ensuring consistency of fit, construction and quality
• Managing fit sessions and sealing processes, writing clear and accurate fit comments for suppliers
• Ensuring approvals and actions are delivered in line with the critical path and required timelines
• Working closely with Buying and Design to ensure product meets brand standards and customer expectations
• Supporting sizing and grade rule consistency, flagging any fit risks and proposing solutions
• Reviewing returns and customer insight to identify recurring issues and support improvements to reduce future returns
• Supporting supplier performance by communicating issues early, tracking resolutions and maintaining technical standards
• Ensuring products meet compliance and testing requirements, escalating any risk or non-compliance appropriately

Person specification

• Previous experience as a Garment Technologist within menswear, either retail or supplier-side
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit and manufacturing processes
• Confident managing multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with clear written communication for supplier comments
• Organised and proactive approach, confident working cross-functionally
