Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Production Manager to join a visionary-led global fashion brand. Main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of four production professionals to ensure seamless operations across all product categories.
- Overseeing the end-to-end production process from initial fit sessions through to final delivery, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Acting as the key point of contact for factories based in China and Turkey, managing partnerships, negotiations, and capacity planning.
- Collaborating with design, technical teams, and garment technology to ensure smooth execution and innovation.
- Managing production schedules, placing purchase orders, and liaising with suppliers to meet critical deadlines.
- Ensuring all quality control testing is completed sufficiently across factories.
- Collaborating with merchandising and wholesale teams to deliver products on time and within margin expectations.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, sustainable practices, and technological advancements to incorporate into sourcing strategies.
- Attending weekly fit sessions to elevate garment quality and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Negotiating factory costs, reviewing collection margins, and monitoring project KPIs.
Person specifications:
- Proven experience in fashion production management with at least three years in finished goods or fully factored production processes.
- Strong people management skills and a track record of successful stakeholder relationship building.
- Excellent organisational skills, attentive to detail, and targeted in approach.
- Experience working with stock management systems and platforms like Shopify is desirable.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through to completion
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-moving environment and adapt to changing demands
