Job description

We're looking for a talented Garment Technologist to join a dynamic team where your technical expertise and creativity will make a real impact. In this role, you'll work closely with design and product teams to bring collections to life, ensuring every garment meets the highest standards of fit, quality, and construction. You'll thrive if you're organised, solutions-focused, and enjoy building strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers. With opportunities to work on diverse products and play a key role in the production process, this is the perfect position for someone passionate about garment innovation and precision.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Partner with Designers and Product Developers to translate design concepts into clear specs and workbooks for factory submission, across inline and SMU collections
  • Prepare, measure, and review Proto, Pre-Bulk, SMS, PPS, and Shipment Samples, conducting fit sessions and maintaining grade rules across men's and women's categories
  • Lead fit meetings, communicating clear, commercial fit and construction solutions to overseas factories, supported by detailed comments and imagery
  • Set, maintain, and monitor garment quality, safety, and compliance standards, ensuring accuracy in fit, sizing, labelling, and ethical production requirements
  • Manage sample approvals and production timelines, troubleshooting technical, fabric, or manufacturing issues to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain seasonal style trackers, recording all approvals, comments, and changes, and flagging any size or cost impacts to line management

Person Specifications:

  • Over 4 years' experience as a Garment Technologist with strong technical knowledge of pattern cutting, garment construction, fabrics, measuring, and fitting
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able to prioritise workload, work under pressure, and solve problems effectively
  • Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with internal teams (product and design) and external partners (suppliers, technical labs, SMU partners)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; sportswear experience is desirable but not essential
