Main Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the seasonal print direction across womenswear and menswear, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends.
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends, colour palettes, and print techniques to inform the design process.
- Oversee the creation of original prints, patterns, and graphics, ensuring designs are innovative, commercial, and technically feasible for production.
- Work closely with the wider design, buying, and product development teams to ensure prints complement the overall collection and meet business needs.
- Manage relationships with print mills, external suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure high-quality execution of designs.
- Manage and mentor a team of print designers, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Ensure all artwork files are production-ready, liaising with suppliers on color separations, scale adjustments, and fabric testing.
- Explore and implement sustainable print practices, ensuring responsible sourcing and eco-friendly production methods where possible.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience as a Print Design Manager or Senior Print Designer, ideally across both womenswear and menswear.
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative print and designs.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience in managing print development from concept through to production.
- Strong understanding of textile printing techniques, fabric properties, and colour application.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a team is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
