Job description

We are delighted to be recruiting for this fabulous new opportunity to join a leading ladieswear supplier renowned for its fashion-forward knitwear and strong relationships with some of the UK's best retailers. Our client is highly respected in the industry and offers excellent management, wonderful offices, and a friendly, tight-knit team, many of whom have grown with the business and stayed long-term.

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Senior Account Manager to work closely with key retail customers, curating compelling ranges and ensuring the delivery of the right product to meet customer needs.

This role requires an individual with strong knowledge of ladies' fashion knitwear, confidence in dealing with buyers, and the ability to nurture commercial relationships. A background in design would be highly beneficial.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and grow key retail accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term partnership development.
  • Work closely with customers to curate trend-led, commercially successful knitwear ranges.
  • Collaborate with internal design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure customer briefs are met.
  • Lead range development meetings and present products confidently to buyers.
  • Oversee the critical path, ensuring products are delivered on time and to customer standards.
  • Drive sales growth through effective communication, product knowledge, and customer insight.
  • Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for further development.


Person Specification:

  • Strong experience in ladies' knitwear, with a deep understanding of yarns, stitches, and fashion trends.
  • Supplier experience within ladies' knitwear
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with buyers.
  • Commercially minded with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong design awareness; a background in design is highly advantageous.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality product and service.
