This role is ideal for someone with experience in account management who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing commercial negotiations, and supporting the development of products for leading retailers.
The Role
As Account Manager, you will work closely with a portfolio of established retail clients, managing day-to-day relationships while identifying opportunities to grow the business. You will collaborate with internal teams across product development, supply chain, and production to ensure projects run smoothly from concept through to delivery.
You will also play a key role in managing pricing negotiations, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the commercial success of each account.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop key retail accounts
- Build strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders
- Support pricing negotiations and ensure commercial profitability
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Work closely with internal product development teams to support new product launches
- Understand product costings and timelines to effectively manage customer expectations
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new business
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in an Account Manager or Account Executive role
- Experience working for a supplier or manufacturer would be highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of account management and commercial negotiations
- Good awareness of product development and costing processes
- Experience working with retailers or managing retail accounts
- Highly organised with strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for the beauty, skincare, fragrance, or gifting sectors
