Job description


Our client, a leading group of fashion brands, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Account Manager to join their growing team. This role will be responsible for managing key retail accounts from concept through to delivery, working collaboratively with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure smooth execution and growth across all categories. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong fashion supply experience and a proven track record in account management.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage and develop relationships with key retail partners, leading range planning, selection, and order confirmation processes

  • Brief design teams and present seasonal ranges to customers, ensuring alignment with customer strategy and internal margin targets

  • Liaise with sourcing teams to confirm costings, maintain pricing matrices, and ensure margin performance is monitored

  • Oversee order management, ensuring accurate tracking of forecasts, purchase orders, and deliveries via the production critical path

  • Provide monthly business updates and analysis, highlighting trading risks and opportunities to the senior management team

  • Support merchandising by submitting accurate demand forecasts and stock requirements

  • Coordinate internally across departments to ensure factory compliance, order delivery, and issue resolution

  • Identify and clear excess stock through strategic trading activity with customers


Person Specifications:


  • Background in account management within the fashion supply industry is essential

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience using SAP is highly advantageous

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Commercially minded with a results-driven approach to driving business growth
