Job description
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Production Coordinator to join their friendly and dynamic team, based in their London office.
You'll be part of a busy and creative environment, supporting multi-product womenswear collections for some of the UK's best-known high street retailers and supermarkets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their fashion career who is eager to learn, develop their production knowledge, and gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced supplier environment.
You'll work closely with designers, buyers, garment technologists, and factories, supporting the smooth running of orders from concept through to delivery.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with managing the critical path from order confirmation to delivery, ensuring key deadlines are met
Supporting the movement of samples, fit comments, and approvals through the production process
Communicating with factories and suppliers to gather updates and track progress
Helping to check lab dips, labels, and bulk fabrics to ensure details are accurate
Updating trackers, spreadsheets, and internal systems with clear and accurate information
Flagging any potential delays or issues to senior team members
Attending production meetings and taking clear notes and actions
Providing general administrative support to the wider production and merchandising team
Person specification:
Ideally some previous experience in a production, merchandising, or fashion admin role (including internships or placements)
A strong interest in fashion, particularly womenswear
Comfortable working in a busy environment across multiple accounts
Good understanding of deadlines and willingness to learn about critical path management
Confident, friendly communicator who can build positive working relationships
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proactive, eager to learn, and happy to take initiative
Proficient in Excel and comfortable using order management systems
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive team environment, gain exposure to major retailers, and build a long-term career in fashion production or merchandising.
