As a luxury fashion recruitment agency, we love to keep up with all the current trends in the fashion world, however this week we took a trip down memory lane. From jazz age sass to Coco Chanel–inspired chic, to the psychedelic 1970s and the not-so-fabulous-noughties.
This creative video shows the progression of fashion all the way back from 1915 to present day in only two minutes.
Here at trp, Senior Consultant Suzi is obsessed with the 70s. “Its made a reoccurrence in recent years and has been brought bang up to date. I love the relaxed, effortlessly chic trademark of the decade; it was playful and didn’t try too hard. Also, as someone who has to regularly tame my hair, I’m loving the unstructured waves that were typical of the 70s. Just don’t get me started on the music!”
However, consultant Francesca, sees herself as a sixties chic. “I love the introduction of prominent colours throughout the sixties. I feel as if there is an element of real excitement and elegance regarding fashion during the decade!”
