Job Description

We are exclusively recruiting for a Senior Womenswear Designer working across all product categories including Tailoring, Outwear, Flou and Wovens to play a pivotal role in the growth and success of this contemporary designer brand with a strong core of luxury essentials. You will have strong attention to detail, with good fabric and sourcing knowledge and a commercial eye of luxury trends.


A background as a Senior Designer or Design Manager working for a premium or luxury womenswear brand with a mix of both design and technical skills and some managerial experience are key for this role. Based in my clients London offices with a mix of office and work from home (3/2) along with an excellent package is offered for this role.



Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strong design experience ensuring design concepts seamlessly translate into beautiful, finished products.
  • Staying up to date with design trends, to enhance brand identity and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with the Design Director to translate brand vision into cohesive and compelling ladies collections.
  • Conduct extensive research, working to identify key trends and drive product development.
  • Actively participate in fittings, with cross-functional teams including product development and merchandising teams
  • Manage a small team of designers
  • Produce seasonal concepts, colour cards, mood boards, fabric concepts and styling propositions in collaboration with the other designers.


Person specification:

  • Proven experience at senior designer level or above within the premium or luxury women-swear sector.
  • A strong versatile portfolio and experience working with a women-swear brand is key for this role.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working closely with Design Directors.
  • Knowledge of current design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of developing design talent.
