If you have 6-12 months experience in a similar role this is the perfect role for you.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with myself and the design team
• Sourcing new fabrics and trims as we request
• Asking for prices and lead-times on trims and fabrics
• Chasing sampling
• Understanding the fabrics we use and need and able to come up with solutions for alternatives if no stock for orders
• Receiving orders and filling out the buy sheets to confirm fabrics and prices
• Sending the customer swatches, strike off or Lab dips for approval
• Proactive and quick problem solving to find alternatives for cloths etc because lead times are tight
• Receiving orders and creating a folder for each order containing
• Sketch from the designer or an image of the garment
• Style code
• Fabric codes and where to order from
• Trim codes and where to order from
• Delivery date
• Chasing fabric and trim orders to ensure we will receive on time
• Check price on the order matches the costing sheet
• Putting the order on to the online system (critical path)
• Involved in weekly production meetings
• Ordering DHL
• Helping with post and sending samples to customers
• Preparing packs to send to our outside seamstress

Person specification:

• At least 6-12 months experience in production/sourcing
• Quick learner
• Excellent excel skills
• Organised and methodical
• Energetic and dynamic
• Excellent communication
• Ability to ask and learn
