The Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling the store operations function, taking ownership of new store launches, systems, and ongoing process development.

The role requires someone who is hands-on, solutions-focused, and eager to grow with a business that values speed, impact, and adaptability.

Key responsibilities include

• Leading the operational setup for new store launches, including layout, stock, and tech implementation
• Designing and implementing scalable, end-to-end processes to support retail operations
• Overseeing inventory movement, shelf availability, and back-of-house systems
• Managing in-store tech and payment systems, working closely with the tech team
• Ensuring health and safety standards are in place and fully compliant
• Supporting onboarding and training for store teams, including process documentation
• Regular travel between store locations during launch and setup periods
• Managing store KPIs around productivity, shrinkage, and stock availability

Person specification

• Previous experience in store operations or supply chain within retail, FMCG, or startup environments
• Strong process design and problem-solving capabilities
• Flexible, hands-on approach with the ability to manage shifting priorities
• Willingness to travel frequently across locations
• Immediate availability preferred
