Job description

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Merchandising Admin Assistant to join a dynamic merchandising team for a fashion brand.

This entry-level position is essential in supporting the day-to-day operations of the merchandising function. You will work closely with the Merchandisers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure purchase orders are raised accurately, deliveries are on track, and all documentation is completed and filed in a timely manner.

This role offers hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Support with the raising of purchase orders (POs) in line with critical path timelines and departmental processes

  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery windows, and any changes to bookings

  • Check and track packing lists and shipping documents to ensure accuracy against POs and booking confirmations

  • Support the merchandising team with order tracking, range admin, and maintenance of internal systems and trackers

  • Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods

  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of range plans, order sheets, and product information databases

  • Support in compiling weekly reports for the team, such as order status, shipment tracking, and delivery summaries

  • Communicate with allocation and warehouse teams regarding inbound shipments and booking issues

  • Perform general administrative tasks such as file management, data uploads, and responding to supplier queries

  • Ad hoc analysis as requested by merchandising team


Person Specifications:

  • Previous experience in a merchandising, wholesale, or administrative support role preferred but not essential

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Good Excel skills and comfortable working with data

  • Proactive communicator with the ability to build relationships internally and externally

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

  • Team player with a willingness to learn and support wherever needed
