A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Junior Merchandiser ready to take that next step into a Merchandiser position. This is an amazing chance to work for established globally recognised fashion brands.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for sales and stock planning across D2C, at brand and category level
- Forecast units at style and size level by fascia
- Seasonal hindsight with in depth sales and trend analysis and to shape future seasons
- Space and option planning for retail fascia
- Size curve analysis and actions to maximise sales
- Weekly trade analysis, identifying opportunities and implementing for upcoming week/month/quarter
- Managing in season stock levels, initial order quantities and replenishment based on sales performance and current trends
- Reacting and taking appropriate action based on in season trends, stock and sales performance.
- Tracking new season stock deliveries and planning intake and launch dates for all channels
- Develop markdown and promotional strategy by reviewing stock and sales to propose packages for MSS, EOSS and key events
- Feedback on YTD sales position, BTA and forecasts to SLT in weekly trade recaps and Orderbook meetings
- Regular competitor reviews
- Reviewing external fascia's in detail to identify opportunities
- Main point of contact for D2C fascia's with internal stakeholders
- Build relationships with external stakeholders for a collaborative way of working
- Monitor and improve end to end process flow for all D2C channels, including internal and external stakeholders
- Create, maintain and develop reporting tools for sound sales and stock analysis
- Implementation of trackers; brand, category and style level to ensure all stock is online/in store in a timely manner
- Ensure consistency across all D2C channels. Use hindsight and collaboration to drive sales
- Manage workload and delegate effectively
- Provide dedicated support and guidance
- Feedback on performance with weekly 1-1s and quarterly objective reviews
Person Specification:
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Strong Commercial awareness
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Takes accountability for actions, able to work with limited supervision
- Able to work under pressure
