Job Description

A new role has arisen for my client who are a supplier of menswear to several brands and retailers, due to expansion they are looking for an account/sales manager with the ability to drive and develop their existing customer base and develop new accounts. Ideally they are looking for someone who has experience working on Mens Jackets and or Denim . This role will be based from home initially, you must have a proven track record within menswear on the supplier side and be confident and proactive.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Communicate with Buyers/customers on day-to-day issues
  • Product development and managing the critical path with Merchants
  • General Admin, chasing samples, organising samples, taking photos of garments, keeping clear records of submits and approvals
  • Provide guidance and assistance to design teams to ensure product development aligns with internal strategy and customer strategy
  • In conjunction with the design team, present new products to customers
  • Able to negotiate prices in line with customer requirements and targets and agree on cost prices with customers

Person Specification:

  • Ability to take direction; work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
  • Strong connections with menswear retailers/ brands skills
  • Must be capable of working under pressure
  • Be able to work unsupervised in an accurate, methodical, and organised manner with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Must have experience working with Bangladesh
