Job description

We are working on a brilliant senior opportunity with a fast-paced apparel business to lead the QA and technical function across their menswear categories. This is a commercially focused, hands-on role for a technical expert who can confidently manage fit, quality, compliance, and supplier standards while partnering cross-functionally to deliver on the critical path.
The successful candidate will bring leadership, resilience, and in-depth menswear expertise to support a multi-brand, high-volume product environment.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Set and implement QA and technical strategy aligned with brand and customer requirements

  • Oversee fit, grading, construction, testing, and fabric performance across menswear categories

  • Ensure full compliance with UK, EU, and international regulations and licensing standards

  • Own the technical critical path and drive timely approvals and problem resolution

  • Work closely with offshore factories to ensure consistent product quality and manage supplier performance

  • Resolve technical and compliance issues at speed without compromising brand integrity

  • Partner with design, production, sourcing and supply chain to support fast-paced product development

  • Support continuous improvement in quality and product consistency across all touch points


Person Specification:

  • Extensive experience in a senior QA or technical role within menswear apparel

  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing technical teams

  • Deep knowledge of garment construction, fit, testing, and fabric performance

  • Strong understanding of global compliance, chemical, and labelling regulations

  • Experience with licensed brands and working across multiple brand identities
