Job Description
We have partnered with an exciting international role working for a large multinational company with world-class manufacturing facilities. They are looking for a General Manager - Operations to join the team in their Bangladesh Office!
The role will work alongside all aspects of operations of cutting through to finishing, production including running styles, and quality assurance / control systems and process in the areas. You will contribute to the development of the organisation's strategy and provide direction to management on all aspects related to operations & production at the factory.
This role is offering up to 350,000 BDT.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Being responsible for the running of all the unit/s functioning and operations, timely planning, effective production, no compromise on quality and competitive cost, as to ensure optimal profitability of the factory.
- Contributing to the development of the organisations strategy and providing advice / direction to the management on all aspects related to operations & production at the factory.
- Developing & implementing organisation-wide management strategies to facilitate organisational objectives, whilst contributing to other areas as and when needed.
- Monitoring and reviewing the Unit performance targets daily against build up plans, daily consolidation of units, considering efficiency's, and work with the teams to ensure budgeted targets are achieved to meet objectives set by the organisation.
- Plan the TNA to establish when the Raw materials and production will commence as to ensure plant targets.
- Be responsible for compiling and putting in place annual Manpower budget and closely reviewing budgets to keep in line with the plan.
- Maintain and monitor the ongoing Factory evaluation to ensure the compliance of technical capability and product safety practices at suppliers meeting requirements.

- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with good attention to detail.
- A problem solver who is constantly look to evaluate, optimise and improve processes and quality.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English is a must.
