Job Description

Do you have a strong background within Nightwear with a commercial business outlook and are sales focused? If so then my client is looking for someone to grow their business. They are already working with several leading retailers they are looking for someone with current connections with retailers and supermarkets who can take their business to the next level 

This is a tremendous opportunity to join my client who is a leading supplier of Ladies Men's and Childrenswear in the UK. They are looking for an individual with a strong background in Nightwear ,Loungewear, and Essentials who is able to bring in new customers as well as continuing to work with their current clients and can grow their business. you will have support from an excellent sourcing and design division and will report into the Board Directors

Main responsibilities will include

  • Work with existing clients and develop new UK  business with retailers and supermarkets
  • Responsible for working with design teams to create high-quality work that aligns with new clients' requirements and to seize new opportunities with existing clients.
  • Liaising with Overseas Factories
  • Managing a team of 8 including design, Technical and Sales  

Person Specification

  • A good all-round knowledge of Nightwear, predominately Ladies and Childrenswear
  • Able to develop new business ideal contacts would be within Sainsbury's, Primark and Morrisons
  • Must be a real go-getter and be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be accountable for running a profitable division
  • Supplier or Retail background within this area essential
  • Able to lead and inspire a team & take responsibility
