Job description

We are looking for a visionary and trend-savvy Design Director to build and lead the trend and design operations for our clients fast-paced women's online business.


In this influential role, you will drive fashion direction by forecasting emerging trends and translating them into commercially successful collections that captivate their customer . You will oversee and lead a small design team and work collabritively with the other Design Directors and heads of in hte business to bring fresh, innovative designs to life.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct deep research on global fashion trends, from runway and street style to social media and cultural shifts.
  • Partner with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams to streamline the product development process.
  • Oversee the creation of innovative and trend-forward designs across all women's apparel categories. specifically yound tend led cool / edgy collections
  • Lead the end-to-end design process, ensuring alignment with brand vision.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor strategies, and consumer insights to uncover new opportunities.
  • Develop seasonal trend boards and presentations to guide internal teams.
  • Utilise trend analysis tools, social media, and AI-driven insights to anticipate customer preferences.
  • Implement cutting-edge technologies to create a highly efficient design process for a fast-fashion model.
  • Provide mentor ship and constructive feedback to the design team to drive creative excellence.

Person Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in fashion design, with a strong track record in a fast-paced setting.
  • Expertise in trend forecasting, design development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), 3D design software (Clo3D, etc.), and emerging AI technologies.
  • Passion for fashion with a sharp eye for trends, detail, and innovation.
  • Must beable to work in the USA - Sponsorship is not avialable
