Job description
We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Account Manager to join an Off-Price Sales and Operations team within a global fashion and licensing business. This role is responsible for managing and growing key off-price customer accounts, driving sales performance while protecting brand integrity and delivering margin. You will be the main point of contact for assigned customers and will work closely with internal teams to deliver strong commercial results in a fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities will include
- Managing and growing existing off-price customer accounts, leading meetings and acting as the main day-to-day contact
- Driving new off-price opportunities and owning revenue, margin and volume targets across your customer base
- Owning the full sales process from range building and pricing through to order placement, delivery and follow-up
- Building customer-specific product offers, negotiating commercial terms, and aligning ranges to account strategy and stock objectives
- Working cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, finance and brand teams to ensure smooth execution and strong service levels
- Tracking sales performance, stock levels and sell-through, producing forecasts and recommending commercial actions to protect margin
- Managing delivery performance and customer communication, resolving issues and proposing solutions to maintain continuity of trade
- Preparing and presenting sales reports, customer feedback and market or competitor insights to inform internal planning and customer conversations
Person specification
- Proven experience in an Account Manager or Sales role, ideally within off-price, wholesale, or fashion retail
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, confident leading customer meetings and influencing decisions
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, confident working with forecasts, sell-through, and sales reporting
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working cross-functionally, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
