An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful fashion supplier as a Sales Account Manager. This role offers the chance to work across ladieswear, managing and nurturing strong relationships with some of the UK's best-known high street retailers.
Our client is looking for a driven confident candidate with extensive product knowledge, and a deep understanding of the critical path from concept to production. This position is perfect for someone from a fashion supply background who combines strong numerical skills with creative flair and a genuine passion for product development.
Main responsibilities will include:
Building and managing strong relationships with existing retail accounts.
Working closely with overseas factories to keep everything running smoothly.
Costing products, negotiating prices, and making sure deliveries stay on track.
Sourcing new fabrics and developing exciting new supplier relationships.
Attending buyer meetings to discuss ranges, pricing, delivery times, and product feedback.
Collaborating with talented design teams to bring fresh ideas to life.
Going on inspiration and shopping trips globally with the design team.
Developing smart sales plans to hit and exceed targets.
Managing the full critical path to keep orders moving from start to finish.
Person specification:
Previous experience in womenswear at a fashion supplier.
Strong product development skills
Great numeracy skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills - comfortable liaising with factories and clients.
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, busy environment.
A proactive, positive attitude and a real passion for product.
