Job Description
We've got an exciting new role to join a thriving, well established and successful supplier who are looking for a 3D CAD Designer / Technician to support the growth of their business.
This is a creative and varied role where you'll be assisting across technical, product engineering, pattern cutting, design, presentations and managing digital materials. You'll need to have a solid understanding of using the cutting edge Clo3d interface.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to contribute their experience and knowledge to be part of an established team. Based in London this role offers hybrid working.
Main Responsibilities will Include:
- Stitching together patterns into 3D blocks.
- Amending 3D styles post fitting sessions.
- Building size sets / final approved blocks.
- Creating styling options.
- Colour & print/graphic placement.
- Rendering/ snapshotting CADs.
- Requesting digitisation.
- Ensuring fabrics have been correctly digitised.
- Sign off digitised fabrics with team.
- Managing 3D and DXF Pattern Files.
Person Specifications:
- Solid understanding of Clo 3D software.
- Previous experience in a similar role for fashion supplier or retailer.
- Must have a strong commercial eye, and an ability to interpret trends.
- Excellent 3D CAD skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and eager to learn.
- Strong organisation skills, and able to work to deadlines.
- Highly technical.
