Job Description
We have partnered with a premium brand who are looking for a Senior menswear Garment Technologist to cover a 1 year contract.
Based in London, this is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Garment Technologists to work across menswear.
This role offers hybrid working.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Manage fit meetings including all teams in line with the critical path dates
- Attend and contribute to Critical Path meetings to plan Garment Technologist dates for coming seasons
- Holding regular update meetings with your team, Design, Buying and Merchandising
- Communicate to suppliers and team members on how to fix fit or make issues by applying your technical knowledge and solve problems with confidence
- Plan and carry out risk assessment sessions
- Continually monitor and analyse sizing based on customer profile/trends/competitors
- Continually monitor grading to ensure best fit across sizes/product areas
Person Specifications:
- At least 6 years experience working across multi products
- Experience, knowledge and interest in Pattern Cutting
- Ideally with menswear experience or ladieswear with tailoring experience
- Good communicator
- Experience of testing is beneficial
