Already partnering with high-volume supermarkets, they're now primed to scale with other major names. Backed by use of innovative 3D software, they move from concept to sample at speed delivering high-quality product at competitive prices. You'll be the UK commercial lead: opening a showroom, managing and growing live accounts, and winning new business alongside a tight design team.
This role can be based remotely with regular travel to customer meetings and liaising with Designers.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Establishing a UK showroom: securing the space, setting the commercial calendar, and making it a must-visit for Buyers.
- Owning key accounts with high-volume retailers: weekly touchpoints, range building with 2 Designers, trading updates, and long-term growth plans.
- New business development with target volume customers.
- Line strategy and sell-in: partnering with Designers to shape compelling ranges, price architectures, and margin-positive proposals.
- Critical path leadership: aligning PD, Merch, and factories to land cost, lead-time, and quality
- Data-driven trading: reading performance, reacting to wins/risks, and proposing range, colour, and flow optimisations.
- Showcase 3D capability: using digital sampling to shorten lead times, reduce cost, and elevate Buyers confidence.
- Contracting & negotiation: terms, volumes, rebates, and service levels that grow the account sustainably.
- Market mapping: competitor watch and outreach plans.
- Reporting & forecasting: building accurate pipelines.
Person specification:
- Proven UK retail network and track record growing accounts.
- Ideally worked across high street fashion product and activewear.
- Confident opening doors, building multi-level relationships, and negotiating.
- Strong grasp of CPs, costings, lead times, testing, and approvals across offshore supply bases.
- Organised & resilient to support in showroom set up and processes.
- Clear communicator with sharp presentation skills and a data-led approach to trading decisions.
- Travel-ready for UK buyer meetings and occasional factory or show travel.
