Job Description
A superb new opportunity has arisen for our client an established financially secure ladies wear supplier who are looking for an experienced Sales manager to grow &develop some of their Key accounts as well as the opportunity to bring on potential new accounts . My client works with mid- large high street fashion retailers and supermarkets .
Experiencing of working with both near and far east production is required . If you have a strong supplier background coupled with buying experience this role could be ideal for you as you will have opportunity to take ownership and recruit a team as the business develops.
A good knowledge of working across ladies woven multiproduct would be highly advantageous for this role.In addition you will also be presenting at all major client meetings and working with existing clients to fully develop the ranges across all areas.
Main duties and responsibilities include
- Oversee a team of designers and be hands on with trends and giving direction and guidance to your team
- Involvement with key customer meetings on a regular basis.
- Liaise with overseas factories monitoring all aspects and liaise with Production teams
- Drive and increasing sales with new and existing customers.
- Required to work in a fast paced environment,
- Develop trend-led collections tailored towards customers throughout the year
Person Specification
- Good understanding of garment costing/margins
- Demonstrate longevity in your design career
- Management of a small team
- Demonstrate solid commercial achievements
- Excellent communication at all levels along with strong organisational skills
- A hands on approach with a strong eye for detail and current trends
- A good understanding of Ladies woven product
- Supplier and or Buying background
- Able to work proactively and be a self starter
