I am delighted to be working on a tremendous new role that I have been retained to work on for a client who is an extremely financially secure organization who are looking for a Managing Director to head up their apparel branded division.
This role will encompass working with existing brands and be responsible for acquiring the licenses for new brands across Ladies, Men’s, Sportswear, and Childrenswear. The successful candidate would have full accountability for the P&L, & work closely with Board Directors on Strategy. As a business, they currently have design, sourcing & manufacturing that you would work alongside, before recruiting your own teams across sales, design & technical.
To be considered for this role you will need to have a strong background working with licensed apparel brands and have worked closely with the design and product development of ranges. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record in building successful teams within a branded apparel business. In addition, you will be dealing with both on and offline large retailers throughout the UK and overseas across ladies, men, and or childrenswear .
A proven track record of success in a similar role is critical for this role as well as the ability to have an entrepreneurial spirit, hunger for success passion & enthusiasm. Above all, a can-do attitude combined with excellent brand knowledge are the key elements needed for this role.
