Job description

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a creative and commercially aware Junior Womenswear Designer to join a vibrant design studio working across multi-product ranges. You will contribute to seasonal womenswear collections for internal showrooms and key accounts, with a strong focus on day dresses, eveningwear, and bridal. This is a hands-on design role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about developing innovative yet commercial fashion.

Based in the London offices 5 days a week.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and identifying seasonal trends to create focused and inspiring concept boards

  • Designing trend-led womenswear collections across day, evening, and bridal categories

  • Preparing tech packs, CADs, and sketches to support customer meetings and sample development

  • Liaising with factories and suppliers to ensure accurate sample execution and timely delivery

  • Attending customer meetings alongside account managers and providing post-meeting follow-up

  • Sourcing new fabrics, prints, and trims aligned to each customer's aesthetic and price point

  • Maintaining design libraries and development trackers for internal and customer use

  • Participate in exciting seasonal sourcing and development trips to key international markets such as South Korea, Japan, USA, and Europe.

Person specification:

  • Degree in Fashion Design

  • Proven experience in a junior womenswear design role, ideally within multi-product categories and a proven track record in designing day dresses & evening dresses

  • Excellent understanding of current and emerging fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction

  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong CAD and hand-drawing ability

  • Experience working directly with factories and suppliers

  • Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects
