Our client is a successful ladies supplier looking at growing their design team and are looking to recruit a Junior Designer to work across woven multi-product. They supply to volume and trend lead to fashion retailers in the UK. You would be designing and developing commercial, trend-aware collections and be thorough in market and trend research to inspire new concepts.
If you are trend led trend with a commercial and creative eye with young to mid-market handwriting and looking for career progression this is a great opportunity. .
Main responsibilities will include:
Researching, developing and creating market leading wovens ranges.
Identifying and executing new product opportunities.
Liaising relationships with overseas factories.
Work closely and liaise with factories in Bangladesh.
Reporting into a senior designer
Attend customer meetings when required
Producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings and tech packs.
Overseeing development of sampling ensuring deadlines are met.
Sourcing new fabrications, techniques and trims.
Person Specifications:
Supplier experience in womenswear woven multiproduct.
Strong organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Commercially savvy with excellent on-trend knowledge.
