Job Description
I'm working with a luxury fashion brand on finding them an inspiring, creative and hardworking Head of Product.
You'll be involved with the planning, co-ordination and control of manufacturing processes from start to finish. You must be passionate about great design with a good eye and experience working with luxury fabrics and mills.
A background in luxury fashion and experience in both Zedonk and Shopify is a necessity for this role.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Founder of the business owner to support creating the two brand's collections.
- Have a solid understanding of luxury fabrics, costings with the ability to negotiate prices and forecast where necessary.
- Managing critical path and delivery schedules for all projects in production, including ready-to-wear, made-to-order and bespoke garments
- Communicate with suppliers and mills ensuring raw materials are ordered as well as fabrics & trims using Zedonk where necessary.
- Drive innovation, strengthen and promote the designs and ranges.
- Apply attention to detail ensuring standards are met, with strong technical understanding of garment construction
- Use of the Shopify platform.
Person Specifications:
- Previous track record success in a Senior Production role with a luxury fashion background.
- Understanding of Zedonk & Shopify a necessity.
- Have a hands-on approach with a determined and ambitious attitude.
- Highly organised, good problem solver with strong time management skills.
- You have excellent influencing and communication skills.
- Be a thoughtful and inspirational leader.
