An opportunity has arisen for our client a leading retail brand with a strong store portfolio throughout the UK as well as a large online presence. This role requires someone from a similar HR retail background . You will be responsible for the leadership and delivery of a commercially focused HR Function.

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include
- Responsible for having the right people in the right place at the right time
- Responsible for all induction and on-boarding arrangements for new staff
- Ensure all roles have identified successors and the business has a strong pipeline of talent
- Responsible for producing monthly reporting to the FD & Group HRD
- Establish metrics to monitor trends, communicate progress, and measure success
- To ensure all HR activity is in line with employment law & best practice guidelines
- Proactively identify Training and Development needs and in collaboration with the L&D team
- Own and manage the Development Review process within the business
- Leadership and management of all employee relations ensuring line managers have the correct skills and advice
- Ensure professional knowledge, practice, and compliance is demonstrated to ensure the business is duly protected from tribunal claims
- Proactively contribute to the design and development of pay, reward, and policy arrangements for the Brand
- Lead and manage the annual pay and reward across the business ensuring full compliance
- Ensure that all staff data is correct and that accurate
Person Specification
- Demonstrated success in a previous HR management role in a fast-paced multi-site omnichannel business, within the retail industry
- Proven experience of running a commer focused HR team
- A strong leader with a track record of building high performing teams
- Able to provide effective and professional advice and guidance to senior leaders
- Highly organised individual with a strong background in negotiation and influencing
- Strong project management skills
- Strong decision maker, agile and resilient are characteristics that are vital to being successful in the role
- High attention to detail, numeracy & analytical skills
- Vision and creativity and the ability to constructively challenge conventional thinking
- Determined and confident, driving results through people and performance
- Highly adaptable and pragmatic but able to 'stand your ground' on a point of law or principle when required
- Commercially astute & gets involved and gets things done
- High levels of energy and enthusiasm, but able to remain calm and focused in pressurised situation
