Job Description

We are working with an incredible games company who are seeking an E-com Manager with experience working with Amazon. This person will drive their ecommerce business both with retail customers and to help launch direct to consumer sites across their branded portfolio.

The ideal candidate will be a determined and focused individual, determined to seize the incredible opportunities that exist within the business.

We are looking for an experienced Amazon/ e-Commerce Manager who wants to be part of building and growing the company.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the companies online partners
  • Working with external partners to optimise the content and marketing tools
  • Own the online catalogue, pricing, marketing-spend, forecasting stock and sales
  • Using all the data available, work with the purchasing and logistics department to ensure that they have the right stock, in the right place at the right time, with the right resources
  • Give trading updates to the sales and marketing departments, building the picture of where they are, where they can get to, and how they will get there
  • Monitor sales vs. advertising spend and reacting accordingly to get the best ROI
  • Build strategies for the e-commerce category for short, medium and long terms meeting business objectives
  • Be the e-commerce eyes and ears, giving insights on current trends within the channel and how they can exploit those trends
  • Using the tools available get the most out of each listing and, where there are additional needs, be able to show the commercial viability of your request and own that project
  • Identify opportunities within the retailer on how to increase consumer engagement and maximise conversion rates
  • Target new retailers and on-board them quickly and smoothly, taking into account other departments processes and resources
  • Identify and maximises best practices by retailer
  • Help support and develop their D2C strategy, business case and launch.

Person Specifications:

  • Knowledge of all things Amazon - AMS, A+, vendor central, seller central
  • At least 3 years' experience in B2B Sales working with key/national accounts
  • Ideally experience within the Games or Toy industry or similar related markets
  • Willing to learn or knowledgeable on how to use the marketing tools available, driving traffic and conversion rates
  • Analytical, with a strong understanding of key metrics, what these can be used to indicate and how they can be used to form the next steps to success
