We’re excited to be partnering with a long-standing and highly successful client, a leading supplier to trend-driven high street retailers, including Inditex brands. They are currently looking to expand their dynamic London-based team with the addition of a talented, motivated, and creative Jersey Designer with strong womenswear experience and fluent Spanish.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on fast-paced, volume accounts, specifically including Zara, where innovation, creativity, and commercial awareness are key. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about product, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings a positive, proactive mindset to the table.
Main Responsibilities will include:
Design and develop trend-led womenswear jersey ranges aligned with client briefs.
Produce commercially viable designs while driving creativity and innovation.
Conduct trend research across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, blogs, WGSN, and catwalks.
Collaborate closely with fabric and print teams to drive seasonal direction and innovation.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, overseas factories, and external stakeholders.
Manage the sample development process, ensuring deadlines are achieved.
Maintain high design standards while working to tight commercial targets.
Person Specification
Proven experience designing womenswear jersey, ideally with knowledge of the Inditex aesthetic.
Strong awareness of the high street market and emerging trends.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator.
Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) – essential for communication with Inditex teams and overseas suppliers.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
A hands-on, enthusiastic approach with a collaborative spirit.
