Job Description
My client, based in Leicester, is looking for a designer who can also do sales. They produce young fast fashion and are wanting to expand into UK High Street retailers and supermarkets.
In this hybrid Account Management and Design role, your main focus will be to manage customer's product requirements and fulfil their orders in line with seasonal briefs.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Driving sales as part of an ongoing growth plan
- Designing young trend led fashion womenswear garments
- Act as the figurehead of the business, ensuring optimum customer service
- Work with internal teams from design to merchandising to ensure a smooth process from order through to customer delivery
- Contacting and maintaining relationships with the UK High Street buyers
Person specification:
- Proven successful track record in selling into the High Street along with own brand fashion product development is essential
- Good sales record
- Young trend led fashion designer
- Good communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- CAD design
