Job description

We are working on an exciting opportunity with a global fashion business seeking a talented and trend-focused Womenswear Designer to join their creative team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to work across full multi-product collections with a strong global presence.

You will be responsible for designing cohesive and commercially successful seasonal ranges, working closely with the Head of Womenswear and cross-functional teams. A strong understanding of fabrication, construction, and brand identity is essential. This is a customer-facing role, so strong communication skills and previous experience in a similar environment are key.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a brand with a strong international reputation and be part of a dynamic, supportive team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design innovative and fashion-forward multi-product womenswear collections, including jersey, sweat, knitwear, wovens, and outerwear.
  • Create seasonal colour palettes, technical sketches, and detailed CADs.
  • Research and source appropriate fabrics, trims, and handlooms, ensuring quality and commerciality.
  • Support the critical path from concept through to production, maintaining brand consistency and trend relevance.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external factories/suppliers to ensure timely development and delivery.
  • Conduct fittings and sample reviews in partnership with the technical team.
  • Present seasonal collections to senior stakeholders.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform the design process.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in womenswear design.
  • Strong commercial eye with a fashion-forward aesthetic.
  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite and CAD skills.
  • Confident communicator with experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work to tight deadlines.
