A leading supplier to the UK high street is looking to appoint a Ladies Outerwear Designer to join their expanding London-based studio. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially minded designer to contribute to trend-led outerwear collections for a diverse portfolio of fashion retail partners.

The role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to collaborate across design, merchandising, and buying teams while developing seasonal collections from concept to finished product.

Key responsibilities include

• Supporting the planning and design of ladies outerwear and leisurewear ranges

• Creating CADs for buyer presentations and internal development

• Producing accurate tech packs to guide sample production

• Keeping sample trackers, fabric, and trim libraries up to date

• Communicating with merchandising teams in Shanghai and UK-based buyers

• Carrying out shop and trend reports to support seasonal direction

• Keeping internal systems such as OneDrive updated with relevant documentation

• Assisting with the development of trend packs, mood boards, and sourcing fabrics

Person specification

• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

• Knowledge of Excel and CLO 3D is a plus

• Experience in ladieswear outerwear is desirable

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset in a fast-paced studio environment
