A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a commercial, fashion-led Childrenswear Designer to join a leading UK supplier to major high street retailers. You'll work across several key accounts covering both boyswear and girlswear.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and trend-aware designer with at least a year's industry experience in high street kidswear. This could be the perfect next step for a graduate who specialised in childrenswear or a Design Admin Assistant seeking a role where you can grow your skills in a supportive, collaborative team.

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Research new trends, shapes, fabrics and develop childrens commercial designs
• Developing seasonal trend boards and creating bespoke customer trend boards
• Identifying new opportunities with new fabrications shapes
• Building and maintaining customer relationships as well as understanding their brand needs
• Produce customer-specific trend boards whilst continually looking to innovate with exciting new product design/development

Person specification:

• Previous experience in a similar role designing childrenswear
• Be able to work closely and efficiently in a fast-paced fashion environment
• Innovate new ideas for customers
• Keeping up to date with research to develop business
• Be confident in presenting trends and design developments internally and professionally
• Have good communication skills with a positive and accommodating attitude
• The ability to use Photoshop and Illustrator is essential
