We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Fashion Design Assistant to join our successful client's team. This is an entry-level role, ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about fashion and eager to gain hands-on experience across all stages of the design process. You will support design team with research, design development, sample coordination, and day-to-day tasks, providing a strong foundation for a career in fashion design.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Assist in creating mood boards, trend research, and inspiration decks

• Produce CAD drawings, sketches, and technical flats under guidance

• Help prepare tech packs and update line sheets for sampling and production

• Organise and maintain fabric swatches, trims, and sample libraries

• Prepare materials for internal design reviews and presentations

• Provide administrative support including organising design files, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents

• Steam and prepare garments for meetings, photoshoots, and customer visits

• Support day-to-day studio organisation and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment

Person Specifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related discipline

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of InDesign is a plus

• Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and fashion production processe

• Strong sketching and CAD skills (hand sketching desirable)

• Highly organised with attention to detail

• Eagerness to learn and ability to take feedback positively
