We are working with a contemporary fashion brand with a strong product handwriting and a customer led approach to design.

We are looking for an Assistant Buyer to support the Buyer across the menswear category. You will play a key role in range development, supplier management, and the smooth delivery of product through the end to end critical path.

This role is based in London and offers hybrid working.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Buyer with the full buying process for menswear, from initial range planning through to order placement and delivery.

• Working closely with Merchandising and Design to develop product in line with the seasonal strategy.

• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

• Supporting cost negotiations and supplier performance.

• Owning elements of the critical path, tracking key dates and proactively escalating risks.

• Managing approvals for fabrics, colours and components.

• Using trade analysis, historical performance, and competitor shop reports to help shape a focused, well balanced range.

• Preparing for and contributing to range reviews, presenting product and performance insights as well as trends.

• Partnering with Technical to support fit and quality, helping to manage fit comments, understand construction risks, and follow up on actions.

Person specifications:

• Previous buying experience within menswear, with ownership of an area.

• Commercially minded with strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Comfortable working cross functionally with Merchandising, Design and Technical, contributing to product development.

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Clear communicator with confident presentation skills.

• Positive, flexible approach with a genuine willingness to learn.
