Product Manager

Working closely with the Design and Production departments of a company, a Product Manager oversees the Product Development and Production Teams whilst also working closely with the design and sales teams.

The job of a Product Manager within the fashion and retail industry is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the development of a product, including gathering and prioritising products and customer requirements for the company, defining the product vision of the fashion brand, and working closely with engineering, sales & marketing, and design to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met as well as revenue.

Product Managers cover a variety of sectors from womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, fashion accessories, footwear, or lingerie. Product Managers liaise with teams such as product design, quality assurance, sales & marketing to determine the best methods to make the product or service profitable to the company.
