We have an exciting opportunity for a Tailor/Sample Machinist to join a bespoke Luxury Brand based in London. It is an amazing opportunity to join an innovative luxury Mens and Womenswear business who's main customers are based in the caribbean and Americas and will be required to travel there on a regular basis with the company.
Main responsibilities will include:

• Choosing appropriate construction techniques and interfacing/interlining fabrics to reach the highest level of quality for each style
• Cutting, mounting, hand and/or machine sewing and pressing of all parts of the tailored and soft garments
• Travelling for fitting when required
• Coaching and supporting team members

Person specification:

• 5 to 10 years experience in hand tailoring/sample machining
• Excellent construction knowledge
• Superior hand and machine sewing skills
• High attention to details
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Reliability and professionalism, which includes respect of confidentiality
• Good communication skills
