Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor for a new store opening in Leeds with a beautiful fine quality jewellery brand. You will assist the Store Manager in leading the Store team in creating an environment for customers that encompasses the brand core values and delivers a first-class shopping experience.

Main responsibilities will include
* Be a Brand Ambassador; offer style advice, share your own personal experiences and honest feedback, while helping each customer choose the right products.
* Provide an exceptional customer experience from the moment customers enter the store through to point of purchase. Engaging with customers at every touch point with a friendly and thoughtful approach
* Identify and implement out of box opportunities to exceed customer expectations
* Ensure the shop floor reflects the brand and concept standards at all times.
* Become an expert on all products, ensuring product knowledge is up to date and communicated effectively to customers and the team
* Deal with customer complaints effectively and efficiently, referring to senior staff when necessary.
* Ensure merchandising is in line with VM standards.
* Create a seamless interaction between customers and the instore technology
* Lead the team in capturing customer data for the database.
* Act as key holder for the store and ensure the relevant store opening/closure procedures are actioned
* Assist the Store Manager with administrative duties including recruitment stock takes, deliveries and stock control procedures. Whilst coordinating with line management on audits and cycle counts.
* Ensure the team are aware of sales targets, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Assist the Store Manager on the recruitment process and product training

Person specification

* 1+ years relevant experience in a senior sales or supervisor role, within a luxury retail environment or high-volume customer facing role.
* Proven retail sales experience, incorporating back-office duties such as rotas, payroll etc.
* Must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Familiarity with the user functionality of desktop, mobile, tablet and digital technology
* A positive "can do" attitude
