Our client, a successful multi-channel retailer specialising in stunning luggage is looking for an experienced Store Manager for their beautiful store in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Store Manager looking for the next move,looking to join an successful, international brand.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business strategies to raise our customer pool, increase store traffic and optimise profitability
  • Meet sales goals by recruiting, selecting, training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Be responsible for product presentation and sales in the best possible way, presenting ideas of how to incorporate new products in the current layout
  • Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc.
  • Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
  • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
  • Be a shining example of good behaviour and high performance
  • Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
  • Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories
  • Understand competitors and keeps an eye on the latest trends and the future of retail

Your Skills & Experience:

  • You have a proven successful experience as a Store Manager for at least two years; experience in opening stores is a plus
  • You have experience with financial planning, events and retail management
  • You have powerful leading/managing skills and are business oriented
  • You have customer management skills
  • You have strong organisational skills
  • You have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are an open-minded and positive person
  • You are a team player, results-oriented and like to take the initiative
  • You are fluent in English
