Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a sourcing Manager to join a successful growing global branded fashion business. You will be managing sourcing decisions & relationships effectively from factories in the Far East and managing the critical path to ensure on time delivery.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Using your network develop and integrate new sources where applicable and in line with growth plans and quality parameters

  • Source new merchandise and review existing product offer to remain competitive and increase market share whilst being good brand ambassadors

  • Work with on boarding new suppliers on the developing processes

  • Work closely with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and QA to steer brand evolution.

  • Effectively maintain the Development plan and critical path for all Brands

  • Work with Design, Merchandising and Sourcing to manage expectations and key deadlines

  • Ensure collections are delivered to Showroom within GTM dates agreed with Sales team

  • Monthly meeting with Retail to gather feedback on performance and analyse all act upon all problems

  • Critical Path Management

  • Monitor and analyse product Range Plans season by season

  • Analyse Historical sales to ensure Core Category sales are covered

  • Use Brand/Category budgets to ensure Range plans / SKU offer is sufficient to realise and exceed target

  • Undertake initial meetings with Vendors to determine suitability for brands and potential next steps


Person Specification

  • Resourceful and Self Motivated

  • Experienced working with kitwear, jersey and woven product categories

  • Held sourcing management, merchandising or production manager role previously

  • Used to dealing remotely with China, Pakistan & Bangladesh

  • An energetic leader & manager, confident and resilient

  • Have well developed business, analytical, planning and organisational skills

  • Be commercially minded and have a business like approach

  • Well developed negotiator

  • Good creative ability and eye for detail

  • A strong understanding of the fundamentals of growing and supporting a multi channel retail business

  • Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and key stakeholders
