Job Description

We have a fantastic new role and are looking for a driven and passionate Social Compliance Co-Ordinator for a successful retailer.

Based in London, as the Social Compliance Co-ordinator you will be responsible for preparing and collating relevant documentation in relation to supply chain and compliance in accordance with the companies policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

You will have good attention to detail and be a confident communicator who builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders of the business.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare, maintain and complete accurate documentation and reports across social compliance for key stakeholders.

  • Manage and oversee supplier onboarding process with respect to relevant requirements.

  • Input and regularly maintain all necessary information and data in systems such as PLM, Sedex, SAP and internal trackers.

  • Report and evaluate performance of suppliers, including site visits, supplier assessments, audit findings and third party audits, ensuring these are in line with requirements.

  • Continually monitor status of all suppliers, proactively flagging any potential risks, issues or areas of concern.

  • Provide oversight of and actively participate in key groups such as Ethical Trading Initiative.

  • Ensure data is accurate across internal trackers and PLM systems - inputting new data when required.

  • Ensure both internal team and all suppliers are aware of company policies, requirements and procedures.


Person Specifications:

  • Degree holder or industry experience in supply chain.

  • Experience in PLM systems such as SAP and Sedex is advantageous but not necessary.

  • Pro-active and organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Confident at making decisions and a problem solver.

  • Previous experience working at a retailer or supplier with an interest in compliance or supply chain.

  • Ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders.

  • High degree of IT literacy (database, spreadsheets).
