Job Description

A superb new opportunity has arisen for our client who are one of the UK's leading fashion manufacturers who also produce private label brands.

They are looking for an experience Sales Manager to grow & develop a new premium womenswear woven brand primarily in the UK and EU. You will need to have a network of agents or direct relationships with boutiques / individual shops / groups in the UK / Europe / The US and Canada.

Based in London, you must have a great eye for trends and will work closely with a Designer to create the ranges. A good knowledge of working across woven multiproduct would be highly advantageous for this role.

This role offers hybrid working.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Drive and increasing sales with new customers.
  • Create and utilise a network of agents and direct relationships with boutiques / individual shops / groups in the UK and Europe.
  • Present a S/S and A/W 2-4 times a year to your network of boutiques and shops, collecting any orders.
  • Work collaboratively with the Designer to ensure you are delivering a desired yet commercial range.
  • Strong knowledge of mid-market womenswear retailers, ability to do comp shops and review price architecture.
  • Overseeing the development of all sampling ensuring deadlines are met for deliveries to be on time for customers.
  • Communicating effectively with all internal and external teams.
  • Support other teams where needed to grow the brand.

Person Specifications:

  • A proven track record of success in a similar role along with commercial achievements.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, hunger for success passion & enthusiasm.
  • Previous experience in building brands would be ideal but not a necessary requirement.
  • Confident to utilise existing contacts of agents as well as independent and boutique stores.
  • Excellent communication at all levels along with strong organisational skills who is able to manage sales agents effectively.
  • A hands on approach with a strong eye for detail and current trends.
  • Great people skills and relationship building.
  • Able to work proactively and be a self-starter.
