Job Description
We are recruiting for a Senior Jersey Designer to join our client who are a leading womenswear brand. You should have thorough attention to detail, with excellent technical skills and a strong commercial eye of latest catwalk trends.
A solid ladies jersey background working for a premium - mid market brand or retailer is required for this role.
Based in London offices, with hybrid working available.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Strong design experience ensuring design concepts seamlessly translate into beautiful, finished products.
- Work closely with the Directors to translate brand vision into cohesive and compelling ladies' collections.
- Conduct extensive research and incorporate relevant trends into the brand's design strategy while maintaining a timeless and iconic appeal.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including, product development, and merchandising to ensure a unified brand message.
- Produce seasonal concepts, colour cards, mood boards, fabric concepts and styling propositions in collaboration with the other designers.
Person specification:
- Strong portfolio showcasing jersey across womenswear.
- Proven experience as a designer within premium -mid market sector for a brand or retailer
- Strong communication skills and experience working closely with Design Directors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
