My Client is a leading UK based clothing design & manufacturing, company supplying to retailers, retailers, brands and wholesale Due to expansion they are seeking to appoint a Screen Print manager to oversee and run their new large premises

This new site is able to cope with increased production and offers a complete print solution, from concept through to delivery with a consistent and growing capacity to offer a quality product with a fast UK turnaround. The print plants work seamlessly alongside their manufacturing facilities overseas. This newly created role will be overseeing and managing a large team to ensure efficiency and effective running of the plant. To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in a similar role in either a supervisory or managerial role within garment screen printing.


This role comes with a competitive salary and relocation package or the option to commute midweek from your home to my client's premises and accommodation will be paid for


Main Duties and responsibilities

  • Organise team members to make sure the scheduled work is completed within the required time frame
  • Offering a strong knowledge of a production environment, preferably within a garment printing industry capacity
  • Proactive in leading and delegating all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed as agreed on the schedules and offering input on how these can be developed
  • * To make sure all deadlines from each production line are hitting dispatch in a timely manner and that schedules are completed each day
  • Identify any machine issues and ensure they are dealt with effectively
  • Ensure all garments, screens, inks, and other consumables are at the machines for printers to allow full efficiency
  • To ensure all orders are completed within the required time frame
  • Troubleshoot any issues
  • Ensure all production lines have regular quality checks throughout the shift
  • Attend Operations Meetings as and when required
  • Complete Health and Safety tasks Essential Skills and Experience


Person Specifications

  • Excellent knowledge of Screen Print and experience of using MHM ROQ or M&R Machinery
  • Strong knowledge of a production environment, within a garment printing industry capacity essential
  • Prioritise and manage your own workload and effectively delegate to your team
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Conducting staff appraisals and management meetings etc * Strong attention to detail
  • Experience implementing new processes or change
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Be self-motivated,proactive , positive, and confident
